word revival

merriam-webster has dropped the word nixie in the 11th edition of their dictionary, which seems quite a shame.

nixie (also nixy) (c. 1890): a piece of mail that is undeliverable because illegibly or incorrectly addressed

that is simply a word that is too cool to let die. it (and nixies, the plural form) is apparently a valid scrabble® word, too.
