the federal trade commission has proposed a national “do not call” registry. of course, there are some industries that want to be exempt from this, like newspapers. “onerous and unnecessarily restrictive requirements”? that's the point, pinhead.

why is it that scandinavians make the coolest furniture? the garden, peel, and ekstrem chairs from stokke all look incredible. they also all cost way more than i can imagine paying for a chair. well, maybe not the ekstrem—it costs about as much as an aeron, which i can imagine shelling out for. (even despite the hype, aerons rock.)
