why is it that scandinavians make the coolest furniture? the garden, peel, and ekstrem chairs from stokke all look incredible. they also all cost way more than i can imagine paying for a chair. well, maybe not the ekstrem—it costs about as much as an aeron, which i can imagine shelling out for. (even despite the hype, aerons rock.)

aaron swartz has written a very nice piece about the semantic web that makes some sense out of rdf. (taking the xml out of the rdf seems to help tremendously.)
