this comment has nothing to do with firemen or charity. but, anyway, congratulations on moving.
you probably know all the cool places to eat downtown already, so I'll go ahead and tell you about a couple of interesting places i've been in the past, so that I sound knowledgable and cosmpolitan, and because giving unsolicited advice is one of the safest yet most annoying forms of communication: Felipe's for french dip sandwiches, and Suehiro (in Japantown) for late night (till 2am) Japanese food. I think there is still a senor fish downtown too.
you already know all this though. but at least i got to yammer about restaurants on somebody's website so many months after marcus killed mrcook.i'm surpised i still know how to yammer. or even eat.
also, Lisa says try Michael Levine's for all your fabric shopping needs, if you have any. maybe you could buy some fabric there and make a real nice shower curtain. they have some good leopard and zebra prints. being in LA you should get the fireproof kind, just in case.
