redesign! there's still tweaks to be made here and there, but things appear to generally work. the new design looks best in a browser that supports fixed positioning (which internet explorer is not — try mozilla for a browser that is more caught up to standards from 1998).

I like it except for the wishlist section, which is hard to parse. it should be getting a LOT of use since today is your BIRTHDAY and all... HAPPY BIRTHDAY, TRAINEDMONKEY!!!
yeah, the wishlist definitely needs work. i need to come up with a good way of merging it with the weblog proper (so new items would show up as weblog entries, and the wishlist page would just list all of the items).
