i guess it will be easier to protect our freedom and civil liberties if we have fewer of them.

interesting that orrin hatch is partly to blame for this. seems he's partly to blame for funding osama bin laden as well, during the soviet/afghan war. written in 1998, Mr. Hatch says he "would make the same call again today even knowing what bin Laden would do subsequently. "It was worth it,"...
