almost a fairy tale

kady looking out from the balcony this weekend, my cousin got married at the venetian in las vegas. the reception dinner afterwards was at canaletto. we were in a private room upstairs, and some of the younger cousins (and others) spent time on the balcony looking out over the shopping and restaurants below.

most of the shots with people are currently set to be visible only to family. (i went ahead and made this one public, since you can’t really identify her from the picture. i may make others public if the subjects say it is okay.)

i shot more than i should have without using a flash, just because i hate using a flash. i should get over that.

With a bit of practice long shutter time with a little bit of flash to freeze the moment can work well in some situations ... (On my Nikon I just set it to a long shutter time with manual exposure and aperture and then let the flash do whatever it's doing. I've no idea how to use the flash either so I just let it be on the default settings).
