the uniball vision is a very fine pen.
if you ever find yourself saying “i’ll get the spearmint altoids, i’m so over regular (peppermint) ones,” know that you are making a foolish mistake. peppermint owns spearmint.
i have no opinion of wintergreen yet. and cinnamon sounds like a great idea, but i fear it. ginger and licorice are also mysteries to me.
the devil and daniel johnston is playing at the laemmle grande 4-plex through monday — at 10am each day.
this must be an oscar® qualifying run, but at first i couldn’t see how running at 10am is “advertised and exploited during its los angeles run in a manner considered normal and customary to the industry.” but this is a documentary, so there’s a rule 12 exception, which just specifies that it has to be run between 10am and midnight for seven consecutive days.
goofy. i may have to check it out this weekend.
blo.gs is broken
the crazy folks at yahoo appear to have hooked up a new data source to blo.gs — maybe their rss ping service? — and now a bunch of blogs like this guy’s are constantly showing up as updated in my list of blogs.
brad feld’s piece on work/life balance seems like it should have more relevance, but i’ve never had a problem with work/life balance because i work too much. i’ve had a work/life balance problem because i have no life.
it’s not always a zero-sum game.
lance arthur has wrapped up his “guide to man grooming” with a two-part final installment on clothing accessories and shirts, pants, and suits. sage advice, i guess. surely better than any that i could give.
