the prescription-happy celebrity doctor is an established villian type at this point, and it appears that ozzy was in the thrall of one of them. because of mtv’s repeat-happy, but tivo-unfriendly, schedule, i haven’t seen much of the second (or third?) seasons of the osbournes, but it sounds like ozzy was in a pretty appalling state.
los angeles lamp user group
a new los angeles lamp user group is starting up, with their first meeting next saturday (december 13) near macarthur park.
in the year 2004
jeremy makes some predictions about 2004. i don’t think any of them are too crazy, just the existing future getting more widely distributed.
one of the comments has a prediction that just cracks me up, though. “vrml mark 2.”
that’s almost as funny as “the u.s. economy will go through the roof.”
i’m too wrapped up in my own little world to make an real predictions, only that i hope that it will be an interesting year, in the best possible sense of the word.
one thing missing from downtown is a trader joe’s. i can’t say enough good things about the grand central market, but there are certain items i’ve found lacking, and i know that a trader joe’s would fill in the gaps really well.
and oddly enough, none of their stores seem to be near red line stops, either.
