unwired

with the elimination of my home server (replaced by a simple wireless firewall/gateway/print-server) and an airport card for my imac, i've gone wireless. for me, going wireless was mainly about being able to pull out wires and flexibility for future possibilities. it's not like running a wire to every end of my current apartment was a big stretch. (oh, and even though my tivo hard drive upgrade is stalled, the turbonet card is installed, and it is pulling updates over my dsl instead of dialing up. baby steps.)
