i think the jury's still out on yahoo's ceo, terry semel, but apparently he's smart enough to realize that the music industry needs to revamp its business model. not bad for a former hollywood exec. now if only yahoo were smarter about making money.

i've got an exhibit hall pass for internet world spring 2002. i wonder if it's even worth hopping the subway down to the convention center to check it out. i have the feeling i'd enjoy the subway ride more than the exhibit hall.
