the car saga continues: i got the ignition timing fixed (was 20° btdc, supposed to be 10°), and is now 8°). now it fails the 15mph no emission tests (was 67 ppm, maximum is 1088, it's now 2235). argh! now i get to decide if it is (a) worth spending $45 to get the problem diagnosed, and (b) worth spending any additional money to get the problem fixed. this solution is looking more and more tempting. the blue book value of the car is in the neighborhood of $1,700.

I vote for this car.
what gives you two the idea i want a new car? (although i have to say the hybrid sounds pretty cool.)
i recall you saying the lexus convertibles looked nice, but didn't have enough leg room or something. of course, this was over 2 years ago at hp. :)
