apparently 'gen xers are just trying marriage on for size.' the explanations given by the book's author seem really glib. it would be interesting to see the real breakdown of the specifics across geographic, racial, and religious groups over time. i'd always been under the impression that people were marrying older. what about the statistics that say that second marriages are more likely to end up in divorce?
