this article on msnbc about how 'file sharing needles pattern makers' would be more interesting if the los angeles times hadn't written the same article in august 2000. (unfortunately, i can't find a link to the article.) if 'major pattern publisher' dynamic resources group really wanted to make a serious challenge to the online trading, they'd sell patterns online. but they're too focused on making buggy whips and treating all of their customers like thieves.

but they clearly don't understand the first sale doctrine when they say "you cannot re-sell".
it is also telling that they don't appear to link to or mention this site on any of their other sites.

Check out e-PatternsCentral.com. This site has over 1000 patterns available, in the most popular needleworking and crafting techniques. Dynamic Resource Group launched this site recently using Adobe technology to deliver the patterns in a nice, clean layout. So, they are selling online.
