watching hurlyburly, a good flick in the kevin-spacey-in-a-film-from-a-play genre, reminded me how i haven't seen a play performed live in quite a few years. (the last was probably the tempest put on by the shakespeare class in college. the last professional production i saw was probably in elementary school.) today i saw that steve martin's picasso at the lapin agile is going to be running at the el portal theatre next month (right across the street from my eye doctor). the odds of me getting organized enough to actually remember to go to the show are slim, but there you are.
