behold! the list of idiots who have attempted to infect either my home computer or this server with a variant of the code red virus since 10pm last night. the los angeles times has a parable about the dangers of a computer monoculture.
the mall of america is set to double in size. the funding is pretty fishy, too, based on the original agreements that led to the mall being built in the first place. (on a somewhat similar note, the minnesota twins aren't doing much to support the argument of sports teams everywhere that they need new stadiums to fund competitive teams.)
golly, i've been invited to join the republican presidential roundtable, for a mere five grand a year. i feel so honored.
my favorite part about the soda reviews at mr. cook is that there's absolutely no indication what the numbers on the various rating scales mean. i guess they're all five point scales, but who's to say? i only have this to say: bring back crystal pepsi. (and not that pseudo-sprite swill they eventually marketed under the "crystal...from the makers of pepsi" name. the original stuff.) mmm, invisible cola.
