here's a pretty amazing story about a woman who grew up in a storage shed. (via someone. i don't remember who. i popped open the browser window, put in the background, and by the time i got to reading the story, i forgot where the link came from.)

i should be more careful about what i say. now i'm the second link for 'mary kate and ashley olsen naked' at google. nearly twenty-five disappointed visitors yesterday. did you know mary-kate is younger, by two minutes? they're fraternal twins? ashley's middle name is 'fuller'?

one of the things that disturbs me about this whole 'mary kate and ashley olsen naked' thing is that it seems to be a breakdown of google's pagerank technology. as far as i can tell, there's no websites out there linking to me that would even mention mary-kate and ashley. if you look at the first page returned in the google search, it appears to be highly-ranked because it is a list of movies that includes a bunch of mk&a movies and the naked gun films.
