did i mention that i'm posting this from an imac? (back from my travels. more later, maybe.)

in chimera, searching from the location bar isn't implemented. yet. what makes this more annoying is that it doesn't appear to be possible to shift the focus from the location bar to the page content via the keyboard, and it doesn't happen automatically when you open a new window and then use the 'search page' hotkey or menu item to go directly to google.

with popup blocking enabled, you can't use bookmarks that call window.open() to pop open windows (like my bookmarklet for making blog entries). there's already a bug filed. (once upon a time, i traded emails with a mozilla developer about the same issue. it got sorted out there, i'm sure chimera will catch up.)
