it's time to register for that free pass to internet world spring 2002. what could be more fun than wandering around the los angeles convention center laughing at all the silly companies who won't be there next year?

cdnow is having their annual clearance sale. i'm not sure i'd consider dvds for $16 a great clearance price, but there's a bunch of music at $8 and $10 that isn't a bad deal.

dyndns.org announces $20,000 donation to perl foundation. and the url gave me a chuckle.

the good: i bought the good, the bad, and the ugly on dvd for $9. and i got new shoes.

the bad: apparently one of my new neighbors is in a band, and they have confused the apartment with a rehearsal studio.

the ugly: it isn't just a band, it is a crappy cover band.

i'd enjoy what zeldman had to say about good web writing more if he didn't dis chimps. speciesist.
