i've never really played around with one, but the blackberry from research in motion sounds quite impressive. and the company appears to be doing well, too. the initial designer of the palm did an amazing job in designing its pim functionality, because he focused very narrowly on that. the rim folks apparently did the same for wireless email. but that's why palm's wireless email isn't as good as rim's, and rim's pim functionality isn't as good as palm's.

let's see, borrow money to buy stocks, stocks go up, keep buying stocks, and then market dips. what a moron. the credit card companies are pretty despicable in their marketing, but they aren't exactly putting a gun to anybody's head. (and debtors anonymous? give me a break.) i'm not sure exactly how i acquired it, but my allergy to debt (particularly credit card debt) appears to serve me quite well.

this is a great story about an incredible day. they should make a tv show about this sort of thing.

gosh, the story of exodus might not be literally true. next thing you know, someone will point out there are two creation myths presented in the bible. i have so much more respect for the jewish view of accepting the torah as "extended metaphor" (cough mythology cough) than the evangelical christian "english translation as literal truth" mindset.

d'oh. just got my latest films from netflix and instead of gladiator, i accidentally rented gladiator. oh well, at least it has an interesting cast.
