"interactive television happens when your football team loses, and you pitch a beer can at the screen." -- marc andreesen
god bless america. (thanks mefi.)
i've rented roughly a zillion films from netflix, a service i heartily recommend despite some problems i've had. (there were two batches of movies that got lost in the mail, and they had problems dealing with my old work address, which was in a new complex. they just recently suspended my account over this, but a quick email to customer support got them to lift the suspension. woohoo!)
anyway, i'm going to start putting up mini-reviews of some of the movies i've rented.
except the peacemaker, which it says i've rented, i could swear i've seen, but can't remember a single detail about. maybe that's the review right there. (it must not have been terribly offensive, though, or i would have remembered that.)
a screenshot of a current work-in-progress. (no, it doesn't really live at my.trainedmonkey.com yet.)
too bad there doesn't appear to be any good general news sites that provide more than just headlines. i'll probably resort to writing something that strips the information from latimes.com. (i sent them mail to find out if they provided such a thing, but i expect no response, of course.)
