grand central market happenings

the hawaiian bbq place looks even closer to opening up: there’s a menu up.

there’s a sign up on one of the mysterious boarded-up sections that claims it is going to be a bakery. that has the potential for much awesomeness. i hope they have good bread. (it has the same name as the tortilleria that is going in, so they are presumably connected.)

they’ve also lost a food vendor or two recently, and a 99¢ store has opened up in the basement (which is a very odd space).
