nyc in the spring

somehow it figures that it is forecast to rain on saturday, my totally unscheduled day in nyc after phpcon east. (but happily enough, the temperature looks like it will okay in general for this los angeles slacker.)

the conference hotel is a block south of central park, and across the street from carnegie hall. looks like a better base of operations for playing tourist than the hotel i stayed at in january.

i'd duck out of the conference and thursday and take advantage of the nice weather forecast then, but i'll still be writing my presentation. (really, i didn't mean to leave it to the last minute.)

hmm. if i were really on the ball, i'd have gotten together a group to go see blue man group. (new album!)
