i think the los angeles downtown news actually managed to scoop eric on his election as treasurer of the downtown los angeles neighborhood council.

As it mentions, I was out of town... I first actually found out the results of the vote through a comment on blogdowntown (though I had asked to be nominated, so that part wasn't a surprise). -e;
