there's an odd claim in the suit brought against michael chiklis (of the shield) by his managers: that he tried to get the actress who plays his wife thrown off the show. the article doesn't point out that said actress happens to be the wife of shawn ryan, the creator of the series. and according to imdb, she is the best friend of chiklis's wife.
