if only it has IR out and some universal remote software, it'd be sitting on my coffee table right now... well, an x-10 output would be nice too, but I'm not going to push it...

oh, and the 640x480 (& 12 bit color!) screen size is next to useless.

but you can hack it. and it's a touch screen. i'd like one just to use as a network-attached alarm clock.

oh, and with the serial port and a firecracker or the more advanced x-10 computer hookup, you could probably get it to control x-10 devices.
