shopping at the grocery store is goofy. if you pay attention, you can "save" a great deal of money (today, that meant $11 off what would have been a $46 grocery tab, including two boxes of honey-nut cheerios for a buck a piece). of course, even when you save money, they're still making a killing. the retail price of cereal boggles the mind. my local grocery store installed a (very sharp) lcd video screen in each checkout line so you can watch commercials while you wait in line.
